Dean is a nationally certified lymphedema therapist and a California certified massage therapist (CAMTC #30613) in private practice in the Sacramento, CA area. Dean is also a nationally Certified Bodywork Therapist with Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.

Dean specializes in the body therapy techniques of CranioSacral Therapy, Heart Centered Therapy, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Neural Manipulation The Brain, Visceral Manipulation and Mechanical Link as taught through The Chikly Health Institute, The Barral Institute, The International Alliance of Healthcare Educators, and The Upledger Institute. Dean is a Certified Examiner and Certified Teaching Assistant and for the Lymph Drainage Therapy and The Brain curricula and a Teaching Assistant for all of the other curricula listed. Dean has made numerous presentations and lectures on these body therapy modalities.

Dean received his massage therapist certification from the Integrative Therapy School in Sacramento, CA. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Yale University in New Haven, CT where he was awarded the Li Ming Scholarship. He was a recipient of the Outstanding Young Chinese Abroad Award from The Federation of Overseas Chinese Association. Dean was a Sales Talk Champion of the Dale Carnegie Training Courses.

Prior to becoming a bodywork therapist, Dean was Vice President/Owner of EUTEK Systems, an engineering firm specializing in the development, design, sales and manufacturing of processes for water reclamation and wastewater treatment. He has authored several professional papers and conducted numerous seminars in this field.
